Dr. Bryan Bluhm, M.D.

Physician

Bryan Bluhm MD serves as a physician at NW Indiana ER & Hospital. Prior to joining NWIER, Dr. Bluhm spent more than 10 years working at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates, IL. In addition to his work as an ER physician, he also served as Assistant Director of Emergency Services and was very involved in Patient Experience.

Dr. Bluhm earned his Bachelor of Arts in biology from Northwestern University. He then received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. He completed his residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, specializing in emergency medicine. He is board certified in emergency medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

When not working, Dr. Bluhm enjoys spending his time with his wife and two children. He also devotes much of his free time coaching youth football, baseball, and basketball, and is an avid sports enthusiast.

“This place is professional, and the staff are very courteous. I am new to the Northwest Indiana area and I’ve visited this place twice. Each experience has been superb. The providers go above and beyond to develop a solution and it is done within a timely manner. There is no sitting in the lobby for three hours, just to go to the triage area for an additional two hours. On each occasion I was completely nervous.
